Almo Lubowski is a qualified lawyer and certified financial planner professional. He has practiced in both these capacities and as a fiduciary specialist.
Almo has also headed up the Financial Planning Institute’s (FPI) Technical and Advocacy Department, has sat on the FSB TCF Steering Committee and is currently a member of the FPI’s Executive Advocacy Committee, which regularly engages the FSB on RDR related issues.
In 2013, Almo wrote a research paper comparing TCF and FAIS and is well aware of the impacts regulatory changes can have in the Investment Advisory space.
He even managed a national team of investment advisors for PPS Investments and currently runs his own financial planning business and assists other financial advisers to run theirs.
Almo will show during the 2-hour workshop that RDR is undoubtedly the beginning of a massive change in the financial services industry.
He will help attendees to stop seeing RDR as a major threat and instead to view the imminent changes as an opportunity.
